Jordan Hasley

Jordan Hasley is an interdisciplinary artist and early childhood education specialist with over 25 years of experience working with children through the arts. A graduate of the San Francisco Art Institute, she began her career with the San Francisco Arts Education Project, leading multimedia and photography workshops. Her students’ work was exhibited at the De Young Museum and in public spaces across the Bay Area. Jordan also founded an artist group whose work appeared on billboards, murals, and in galleries throughout San Francisco.
Since 2006, Jordan has served as the Atelierista at Private School in Hawaii, where she facilitates creative exploration through the Hundred Languages of Children. She played a key role in conceiving and implementing the school’s atelier spaces and co-developed the outdoor ateliers for the Hundred Languages Exhibit and the 2014 NAREA Summer Conference, where she also served as a lead facilitator.
Jordan designed and recorded a series of classes for TeachFuture, a Chinese educational platform that uses her content to train teachers across China. She has also consulted with Jade Schools in China and the University of Niigata in Japan.
A sought-after speaker, Jordan has presented on early childhood art practices across Hawai‘i, the Bay Area, and Canada. She attended the first International Encounters with the Culture of Atelier in Reggio Emilia, Italy, and has contributed to Innovations Magazine, Global Citizenship Education for Young Children, and co-created, designed, and published Where Our Ideas Fly. Her work has been featured on Hawai‘i Public Radio and Olelo TV.
In 2025, Jordan designed and implemented a children's exhibition at Capitol Modern in Honolulu. Alongside her teaching and consulting work, she continues her personal art practice in photography, painting, and bookmaking. Her artwork has been exhibited in Artists of Hawai‘i and Hawai‘i’s Contemporary Photography shows.
